Solution for a Freight Forwarding Company.

The client is India's oldest Freight Forwarding Company, having offices at 30 locations in 10 cities in India wanted to provide their clients with an online tracking system where they could track their shipments instantly. Additionally, different branches of the company had different systems and Database structures.

DSS developed an online tracking system for the client company within 7 days connecting six different branches of the company.

Major modules in this system are:

	Data Uploading Module:
	A simple wizard type software enabling the branches to upload the data from their offices.
	Tracking site:
	The Company and its clients could then logon to the tracking site and retrieve the required order information.
	Automatic Messaging:
	An automatic messaging was provided wherein clients of the company would be informed of the various stages of the shipments through e-mails.	More on Jtrack implementation

The system was a customized version of the DB2Net product developed by DSS.
